has the time come for woodstock 3.0? how can we respond to the world in tumultuous times? it is said that there are over 110 million love songs, and about two thousand are added every day. this is the starting point for singer, director and pop artist elia rediger and the caravan of luv. for the vienna festival (wiener festwochen) | free republic of vienna, he cast musicians for the newly established band of the republic, luv, in vienna. the musicians live and rehearse together as a modern commune in a caravan just outside of vienna, writing their love songs for the caravan of luv. after the release of the album, these songs form the core of the club of the republic: every thursday, luv plays late night shows with local special guests at funkhaus – evenings for broken hearts and universal healing. in the best manner of troubadours, the caravan of luv will continue to travel after the end of the festival and will carry the spirit of the republic of love into the world during their luv-tour-de-coeur.
